Man charged over property offences, Trinity beach

A 49-year-old Caboolture man was arrested and charged on the week-end following the alleged break in of a take-away food business at a Trinity Beach shopping centre. It is alleged that police located an unlocked door at the rear of the Rabaul Street premises at about 10.30pm and located the man in a cupboard inside. He was charged with entering a premise with intent; attempted entry of an adjoining business; wilful damage; contravening a direction and possession of a thing used in the commission of an offence. He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
