Smithfield Police charged a 17-year-old Clifton Beach man on Friday night following a number of offences allegedly committed in the Clifton Beach area. He was charged with three counts of unlawfully entering a motor vehicle as well as the attempted break and entry of a liquor store. The man is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 29.
