A 28-year-old Edmonton man was charged by Edmonton detectives yesterday following the alleged theft of a Nissan sedan from outside a Cattle Street address. The man was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later this month. The vehicle had been placed for sale on a footpath area and was left unsecured. Police are again requesting vehicle owners secure their vehicles in order to avoid becoming a victim of crime.
