A 42-year-old Bungalow man has been arrested following an overnight incident at Bungalow.
The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today to face charges of attempted murder and supply a dangerous drug.
Police and emergency services were called to a Buchan Street residence around 9pm and located a 36-year-old Westcourt man with serious injuries allegedly inflicted during an altercation.
The 36-year-old man was transported to the Cairns Base Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
