Detectives have charged a 27-year-old Whiterock man following investigations into a number of offences allegedly committed in the Cairns area during 2010. The man was charged with armed robbery, robbery with violence, deprivation of liberty, burglary, stealing and entering premises to commit an offence. He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
