A 22-year-old Cairns man was charged by detectives last night following an investigation into an incident that occurred on Monday night . It is alleged the man met the 24-year-old female on Monday night. It is further alleged that the man met the woman later that evening at a Cairns hotel where the offence allegedly occurred. The man was charged with indecent assault and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later today.
