Detectives charged a 44-year-old Smithfield man with stealing yesterday following an investigation into an alleged theft from a Cairns electrical store. It is alleged that a car stereo was stolen from a Mulgrave Road audio visual store on January 30. The man is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 17.
