A 26-year-old Mossman Gorge man is facing a string of charges following his arrest at Mossman Gorge around 1.00 this morning. Police were attempting to arrest the man following a disturbance when he fled on foot. The man allegedly resisted arrest when he was caught by police. Police allegedly found stolen credit cards on the man believed to be connected to a break and enter on May 30. The man was charged with consuming liquor on a road, obstructing police, burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is schedule to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
