Two 20-year-old men, from Kewarra Beach and Woree, are scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on February 18 after being charged over an assault at a Ward Street residence on Monday night. It is alleged the men entered a residence and assaulted a male and a female resident at about 9.30pm. The two men have both been charged with entering a dwelling and committing an indictable offence, as well as two charges each of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst in company. It is believed that the men were known to the two19-year-old victims.
