Men arrested, Kanimbla

Police yesterday arrested two men shortly after they had allegedly gained entry to a shed at a Hymes Street residence, Kanimbla around 7.40am. When challenged by a witness the men allegedly fled with a quantity of electrical equipment and tools. Police conducting nearby patrols located and arrested the two men on Irene Street. The property was returned to the owner. A 19-year-old Mount Sheridan man and a 20-year-old Manoora man were both charged with entering a premises and committing an indictable offence. Both are scheduled to appear at the Cairns Magistrates Court today.
