Sadly this work has now been covered over.

Australian Street artist Sam Bates transformed the blank and unsightly hoardings at Wilson Street
into a decorative mural depicting the creative and multi-cultural
city of Glasgow.

Sam wanted to showcase
some of Glasgow’s tourist attractions as well
as depict its unique character and personality. Scenes include Glasgow Cathedral and
Necropolis, Kelvingrove, the Lion in George
Square and characters which are part of the
cityscape (many of the iconic features highlighted in the Active Art Trails!).
