Review: Founded in 1989, the Wexner Center is a multi-disciplinary arts center. The film program screens roughly 160 films per year including new international and independent films, documentaries, experimental work, and classics. It is the only venue in the region that regularly hosts visiting filmmakers and people such as Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Claire Denis, Jim Jarmusch, Gus Van Sant, Milos Forman, D.A. Pennebaker, Guy Maddin, Sadie Benning, and Frederick Wiseman have introduced their work over the years.
