Unincorpirated area where the Brian MacDonald family had a farm from 1691 to 1745. They emigrated from Arklow, County Wicklow, Ireland. He had served in an Irish Volunteer Regiment in the cause of King James II and emigrated after that cause was lost, with his wife and five children.
