Mosaic Bollards

A row of very colourful mosaiced concrete bollards separating Parnie Street/Osborne Street from the Saltmarket.

Given the brightly coloured designs and the nature of the images depicted on these bollards, they may well have been part of a community arts project, similar to that carried out by school children in the West End of the city. Those mosaic bollards created with the help of Glasgow-based community arts company 'Impact Arts' can be found lining Great Western Road.
