National Museum of Nature and Science recently re-opened in a new building, focuses on the living world, with life-sized representations of practically every life form the earth has ever seen, from the blue whale (outside the old building) to hundreds of exotic insects. TheNational Museum of Nature and Science has had many names in the past including National Science Museum of Japan, Tokyo Science Museum, Tokyo Museum and Misistry of Education Museum. The National Museum of Nature and Science is located within Ueno Park Tokyo.
