The National Olympic Stadium (also referred to as simply the National Stadium) was completed in 1958 and built for the 1964 Summer Olympics. The National Olympic Stadium has a seated capacity of 48,000 and today is mainly used for football matches. The National Olympic Stadium is located in Shinjuku.
