The North Garrett FFA chapter created a handicap-accessible nature trail to be used as an outdoor learning lab on the school grounds.  Members cleared brush from and reestablished an existing trail and  created handicap-friendly access points.  Students in Forestry and Wildlife Management and Landscape Management classes led the design of the trail and included plant and animal identification materials along the trail.  Spot interviews were also held with those community members who utilized the trail as a fitness tool to understand how the project had also affected the community's access to quality fitness activities.
