Description: The North Prospect Garage Project transformed a derelict building into a community garage which offers various training courses in car mechanics for young people aged 14-25 and low-priced repairs for local residents. The project is self sustainable and generates most of its income from the training courses that it provides.

The Project now provides accredited training for young people and is an Institute of Motor Industries and Assessment & Qualifications Alliance training centre. The major focus of the project is on young people who reside in the local area of North Prospect but will accept students from City wide if space is available. The courses the project delivers vary from one day per week over 10 weeks to two days per week over an academic year.

The project is run by a group of trustees and a small team of staff, who all value, respect and believe in the ability and capability of young people to reach their full potential, regardless of their background, or current circumstances.
