Review: Room Hire: Small meeting room free within partnership area and surrounding areas. Photocopying: little or no charge. Printing and fax facilities - little or no charge. Office Space: 2 hot desks which can be used by organisations/community groups/individuals working within the community. Advice: Solve it - conflict resolution. IT support and access to 86 computers. 'Welcome to North Prospect' - working with new and existing residents and other organisation i.e. Community Justice. Child and vulnerable people training. Train to Gain. Supporting Women's Voices. Group Formation support i.e. resident / community group. Street reps working with Solve It team and new and existing residents. Other Services: Printing and fax facilities - little or no charge. Notes: Would like to increase capacity but feels that there are external barriers preventing this from happening. More partnership with other organisation is needed i.e. third sector representative, and to strengthen the neighbourhoods and locality. Often the work is being carried out already but more resource would bolster this process. No need to duplicate. Huge capacity and plethora of support within the city already. Martin think there is power issue happening, a us and them mentality. They work in partnership with Neighbourhood Managers and LSP (from the five themes - Young people, community education, employment, health and wellbeing and housing and environment - 24 working groups have developed) Supporting small groups is a big part of what they do.
