Oak Harbor FFA

Oak Harbor/Penta FFA implemented a Stream Water Quality Monitoring Project along the Portage River in Northwest Ohio in cooperation with the Soil and Water Conservation District.  The primary goal of this initiative was to engage awareness in youth, both elementary and high school, community members, and the general public in making informed decisions regarding water quality while physically improving the area. The project improved the quality of creeks, streams, and rivers while also creating long term stewards of the land through educating and engaging the community.
