Oak Hill
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**October 2008**
Trails: All trails are kept fairly clear, and are still definitely skiable.
Lifts: The only lift (a J-bar) has long since been removed. it is rumored that the J-bar built here was the first one ever constructed in the country.
Facilities: A small shack that looks as if it could have served as a lift hut remains at the base of the trails. A small lodge remains as well, but looks like it's used for storage nowadays. There is also a natural ski jump just to the north of the ski trails that looks as if it's still in use.
Accessibility: The entire area is open to the public as a recreation area, and has NUMEROUS hiking/cross-country skiing trails that traverse the old ski area. Dartmouth looks like it uses the area quite a bit for sporting events.
