Offenders arrested over hotel break-in, Edmonton

Detectives from the Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged three people overnight with the alleged break-in of a Bruce Highway hotel on February 28. Two men, an 18-year-old from Kanimbla and a 17-year-old Manoora man, have both been charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence and assault police. They are due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court later this month. A 16-year-old male youth was also charged in relation to this matter and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Juvenile Justices act.
