Cairns Traffic Branch and local officers issued 12 traffic infringement notices in Edmondton yesterday as part of operation Buckle. A 35-year-old Mt Sheridan woman allegedly returned a breath alcohol reading of 0.140% and is due to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on March 5 to face a drink driving charge. The traffic operation will be ongoing in and around the Cairns area.
