Papone 's Tower

Category: Sightseeing

Used in the following map:

ITALY

In the medieval village of Noli, in its northern part, the thirteenth-century tower rises Papone, with mullioned windows and Gothic windows. A small arched bridge connects it to the trenches on the walls that descend from Mount Ursino Castle and the road that leads to the Bishopric. Its structure, apart from lowering once in 1831, has remained unchanged over the centuries.
