Peabody Historical Society programs include an annual craft fair, a holiday open house, lectures, tours and other special events. Visitors to the General Gideon Foster House can view the Federal Period dining room of the Foster family, the Victorian parlor of the Merrill family (later occupants of the house), and rotating exhibits of costumes, textiles and military artifacts.
