Pedestrian bridge has no real exit on the Cambridge Street side.

The pedestrian bridge (are bikes technically allowed? I'm not even sure) is great for avoiding Cambridge street, but once you get over it you're pretty much landed on a narrow sidewalk and several lanes of cambridge street traffic. Not really anywhere to go from there aside from down the sidewalk, which is too narrow and I feel bad for pedestrians doing that. This is an especially big issue when getting onto Harvard Ave from the ped. bridge.
