Students developed a curriculum for educating their community about biodiesel production and its benefits to their local dairy farmers. Â FFA members partnered with local experiment stations and restaurants (who provided cooking oil for fuel production) to test and learn about biodiesel production. Â Students partnered with local dairy farmers to train them in the use of biodiesel in their farm equipment and at least 10% of those farmers began to use biodiesel fuel before the next planting season.
