His ultra-national regime, along with his facist and genocidal policies regarding territorial expansions, all led to Slobodan Milosevic's trial by the Int'l Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslovia, where he faced charges of crimes agianst humanity, violating the laws/ customs of war, for breaking the Gevenva conventions, and genocide. However, there was never a verdict given out because he died during the procedings.
