Cairns police are warning people to be vigilant with their property after a number of bag thefts across the CBD in the last two weeks. Police are investigating reports that up to ten people were the victims of thieves at the Cairns Esplanade lagoon precinct on Sunday. Victims reported the theft of bags, purses and phones from amongst their belongings whilst swimming or not paying attention to their property.
