Cairns police have charged an 18-year-old man and four 19-year-old men with one count each of public nuisance. It is alleged the group were involved in a violent melee in Shields Street, Cairns at about 1.30am today. All five men were issued with banning notices and will appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on April 15.
