The Ramona Wilson Memorial Walk takes place annually (in June) in memory of Ramona and the many girls and women who have been killed or have gone missing on Highway 16 in the Northern BC Interior. Ramona was fifteen when she was murdered while hitchhiking from her home in Smithers to Moricetown, a few miles away.
Ramona's family organizes the walk in her memory in an effort to build awareness and save lives.
