Who was Mr. Alexander Ross?
Alexander Ross was one of the conductors of the Underground Railroad. He posed as a birdwatcher and visited plantations to observe and hunt for birds. But, Mr. Ross had hidden plans, as he would secretly meet with slaves who wanted to go north to Canada and provid them with directions, knives, compasses and money.
