Cairns Property Crime Squad Detectives have charged a 16-year-old youth with one count of robbery and one count of fraud. It is alleged she robbed a 71-year-old Cairns woman on Mulgrave Road near a shopping centre in Earlville at about 10.30am yesterday before fleeing in a vehicle. At about 5.30pm yesterday police located the youth and charged her. She will be dealt with under the provisions of the youth justices act.
