Police are investigating the robbery of a 69-year-old woman at a Westcourt shopping centre car park which occurred around 5.15pm on August 24. The woman was punched several times before her purse and cigarettes were stolen from her handbag by three male teenagers. The victim sustained a sore back and bruising to her face and arms. The youths are described as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander in appearance and aged in their early teens. One is around 155cm tall, with a solid build and black hair, wearing a black t-shirt and three-quarter length white shorts. The second youth is around 160cm tall with black shaved hair wearing a white t-shirt. The third youth is around 155cm tall.
