Police are investigating a robbery offence that occurred at a Windarra Street skate park on Saturday morning. A 13-year-old Gordonvale boy was at the park with his 14-year-old friend when he was approached by two male youths aged 16 -17 years. The older youth demanded the boy hand his bike over and the he refused to do so. The offender then took hold of the bike and forcibly took possession of it as well as stealing the boy’s helmet. The two offenders then rode off and were last seen heading east along Alberta Drive. The bike is described as being a black ‘Kicker’ brand 18” BMX bike with blue hubs and a blue sprocket.
