The Roxie New College Film Center, the oldest continually operating cinema in San Francisco, has a brand new face! Thanks to donations from individuals, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and American Express, the renovations of the cinema's historic marquee and vertical blade signs are now complete! The Roxie New College Film Center is also getting new seats! The Institute on Aging generously donated the seats from the Coronet Theater. They will be installed in the "Big Roxie" in late June.
Other improvements include a new sound processor, donated by Dolby Laboratories, and a new candy case.
