There used to be a row of four tall cottages here. One of which has a small boot and repair shop in the cellar. This was run by Henry Holbrook in 1901 and later by his son Samuel. He always had the same sign in the window - Shoe Caps and Ties. Samuel Holbrook also had a stall in Radstock Market on Saturdays.
