MODERATELY DIFFICULT - At 1,379 feet, Sargent Mountain is the second highest mountain in Acadia National Park. Taking the Brook Trail and starting from the Norumbega parking lot on Rte. 3, the roundtrip is just over 4 miles . ( Cross over to the east side of Rte. 3 to pick up the trail.)The top portion of the trail is the toughest, but worth the effort. From the summit, you can see the Appalachian Mountains.

ROUNDTRIP DISTANCE - 4.2 mile (6.7 km)

SUMMIT HEIGHT - 1,379 ft (420 m)
