Police are investigating a sexual assault on a 23-year-old Cairns woman at about 6am on Saturday morning. It is alleged the woman was walking on Mulgrave Road, between the intersections of Ishmael Road and O’Hara Street, Earlville, when a man approached her asking for directions. It is alleged the man then grabbed the woman on the groin before fleeing. The man is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 21-years-old, slim build, about 165cm tall, dark brown hair, brown eyes.
