The colourful Shwe-Shwe Poppis are from Zola here in Soweto. The company is now a independent business, but it started as an employment project through a branch of the African Children Feeding Scheme that is also based in Zola. The project did originally give jobs to unemployed mothers and grandmothers of children at the centre, but now works as an independent business employing men and women in the community.
