Description: Fred Siegrist joined Steptoe & Johnson in January 1980 as the Controller of the firm. He has more than thirty years experience in the areas of accounting and finance. Mr. Siegrist currently serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Siegrist is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and an MBA from West Virginia University, where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business honorary.

Prior to joining Steptoe & Johnson, Mr. Siegrist worked for Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCooper,) he also worked as a Controller for Lewis Coal and Coke and taught at the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University.

Mr. Siegrist has been a frequent speaker/presenter at various legal industry conferences including the CFO for Law Firms Conference, the Elite User's Conference, and most recently at Legal Tech New York 2008. He is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators.

Mr. Siegrist serves as President of the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library, Chair of the Endowment Fund for the Harrison County United Way, President of Delta Foundation, Inc. and is a member of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.
