-The deportation of Armenians from Sivas began in June 22, 1915.
-The entire Armenian population living in Sivas was exiled through seven separate campaigns.
-Along the march out of Sivas, all males over the age of 10 were taken away to be killed.
-Girls and women of all ages were raped and ravanged.
-There were some heroic cases of resistence in Sivas. A group of Armenians, led by Miss Shahinian fought their oppressors until all were dead.
-The Armenians that were not taken away, beaten, raped, or murdered, died because of a lack of water and starvation.
-August 13, 1915: 15,000 Armenians are murdered in Sivas.
