Navigating from Western Ave onto Market St safely is hopeless unless you are an advanced level/uber confident cyclist. I have opted for a roundabout route that brings me to Lothrop St and I get on the sidewalk to get to Brighton Center, to the chagrin of some pedestrians. I would prefer the road, but it seems like a much better option than getting killed.
