South Burlington Tow
Category: Abandoned Ski Areas
**February 2008**
Trails: The one main slope has completely grown in, and is now uniform with the rest of the forest. Looked like it was VERY short, definitely under 100' of vertical.
Lifts: Six charred posts, a flywheel, and random telephone pole at the summit of the hill are the only remains of the ski area's ropetow. The liftline depression, however, is easily visible from route 89 in the winter, just north of exit 14W.
Facilities: None.
Accessibility: Located within UVM's Centennial Woods. Hiking trails run right past the old ski area.
