Students developed a partnership with their local elementary school to educate students about solar power, wind energy and solar cell technology through classroom visits and community open houses. Â Fifth graders participated in an activity to build their own reversible fuel cell car. Â In conjunction with Maple Ridge Wind Farm, the chapter created a school research station which allowed for understanding the different aspects of wind power.
