South Tysons Beltway Crossing

Although South of the Tysons urban study area, an additional beltway crossing (bikes and pedestrians only) would enable many to avoid crossing the Beltway at the Rt. 7 interchange. This would provide pedestrian and bike access of students residing outside the beltway to Marshall high school. Alternative 1 would connect the Sandberg St cul de sac or Pearl Fog Way dead end with George C Marshall Drive. Alternative 2 would be to provide similar access via the existing Oak St. bridge to Providence St by connecting the Providence St and George C Marshall Dr dead ends with a multiuse path.
