St Andrew's Square, Off London Road
This lovely Georgian Square has been restored to the original combination of elegant housing and a fine central church which would have been seen in the 1790s. The church has also been renovated and features some fine stone carving. The centre of St Andrew's Square is dominated by St Andrew's Square Parish Church, designed by Allan Dreghorn & Mungo Naismith and finished in 1756. The church features powerful Corinthian columns and detailed carving, such as this crest of the City Of Glasgow, carved by the master mason Naismith.
