Police are investigating a theft of a large golf ball shaped sign from the Cairns Golf Centre on the Captain Cook highway at Yorkeys Knob.
The sign was stolen sometime between Sept. 1 and Sept 2.
Unknown offender/s have damaged fencing before stealing the sign.
Police believe that a vehicle was used in the offence.
The sign is approx 1 metre in diameter.
