A 16-year-old youth will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justices Act after allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle yesterday. Police were called to a residence in Toogood Road, Woree at 4.30am after residents detained a youth who was allegedly found in the driver seat of their vehicle. The residents woke to a noise outside and saw their vehicle being rolled down the driveway. The occupants detained the teen until officers arrived.
