Sited just south of Stinson Beach, CA, you can sit in the pools on the cliffside and watch the ocean. Only accesible during low tide, so check the tide tables.
From a TribeNet posting, "You park up there (Highway 101), and then there are two ways to get down. There's the hard way, which is more direct, and the less hard way, which curves around a bit. I wouldn't recommend the hard way if you've never been there, esp. at night. It's basically a trail that goes straight down a pretty steep cliff. If you just take the road and walk all the way down you will come to some cabins (they're available for rent, and are cheap, but you have to book way in advance). Turn right and walk through the cabin area and head down towards the beach. There is a rocky cliff that you have to walk around, and then the hot springs are on the other side. It's important to go when the tide is out, b/c you don't want to get stuck down there when it's in!"
